Nintendo 3DS with MarioKart

Finn's bessie mate wanted a cake, and was quite specific :)  Luckily it stopped looking like a blue settee after a while and started to look like it was supposed to!

My First Wedding Cake!!!!

Yes, my first ever wedding cake!!!  The request was for a simple white iced 4-tier chocolate wedding cake with silver ribbon.  So I feel I've done exactly as was required! The bride was very happy and assured me that nearly every piece was eaten :)  All layers were the same -  chocolate madeira sponge cake with 2 layers of chocolate buttercream, then covered with plain white icing.  The second picture shows the cake in ALL it's glory ;-)

Happy Easter

Aaah, cute little Easter cupcakes - chick & sheep are both vanilla and the nests are chocolate.

Baby Faces

Aaah, I loved these little babies.  Made for a babyshower with a coordinating chocolate fudge cake in the middle.  Too cute to eat.......well, almost!

Leaving Cakes

So many pics I know but I was proud of the cupcake feast that I took to celebrate/commiserate my last day at OAG :(  There were chocolate, mocha, lemon, strawberry & coconut & raspberry - & yes, I think I did actually have 1 of each!

Giant Chocolate Cupcake

Proper mega chocolate feast!  Chocolate sponge filled with chocolate buttercream then topped with even more of the stuff and covered in Maltesers (as was requested!)

Couple of Delicious Cupcakes

The top one is a lemon cupcake made as a Mother's Day gift and the bottom one is obviously chocolate!

Ben 10 Birthday Cake

Okay, I know the little man doesn't look much like the real Ben, but I thought he was just so cute anyway!  And this particular birthday boy was not a harsh critic :)

Hello Kitty Birthday Cake

Aaah, I loved how this one looked, do always enjoy doing girly ones!  For a 1st birthday, vanilla & jam sponge with matching cupcakes.

Burlesque Cupcakes

I was seriously excited about doing these cupcakes which were requested for a hen do.  Obviously they had to be chocolate!  Then came the fun bit of being creative with the toppers - knickers, corsets, feathers - out of shot unfortunately is the nipple tassle one!

My First Ever Bake Sale

Got there a bit late to take any pics beforehand but had a lovely time.  Having never done one before I was keen not to bake too much, or too little, but I think I did just about enough.  Well enough so that I had a few cakes leftover to keep my man & boys happy for the week!

Giant Birthday Cupcake

My first giant cupcake!  Really enjoyed doing this one as it was so girly :)  It's vanilla sponge, covered on the bottom half with fondant icing so it looks just like a normal sized cupcake case.  Filled with chocolate buttercream and topped with another sponger layer, vanilla buttercream and lots of hearts & flowers x

Ferrero Rocher Cake!

A special request and one which I thoroughly enjoyed making.  I'm not even a big fan of Ferrero Rocher and I could've happily sat & eaten the whole thing!  A 4 layer chocolate sponge, filled with a chocolate hazelnut ganache & wafer layer, a hazelnut praline cream layer & a chocolate buttercream layer, topped with chocolate ganache, coated with crushed hazelnuts & then as many Ferrero Rocher as I could squeeze on the top

Minnie Mouse Cake

A gorgeous Minnie Mouse cake for a gorgeous 1 year old.  It had to be Minnie & it had to be pink so I think this fits the bill :)  Vanilla sponge sandwiched with vanilla buttercream & raspberry jam.  Covered with pink spotty fondant icing and then topped off with Minnie Mouse's head - which thankfully didn't wobble off on her 2 hour car journey to the party!

Chocolate Fudge Cake...

The old chocolate fudge cake sure is a popular choice!

Chocolate Orange Fudge Cake

A 4 layer chocolate orange sponge filled with an orange scented cream & layers of chocolate orange buttercream. Topped with chocolate orange ganache.

More coconut & raspberry cakes but this time a cute mini version which just melted in the mouth - so good I ate 3 that day :-0
